LUMEN has created these instructions to help you use your product safely and for a long period of time. Please read all rules carefully and keep this guide for future reference.
Installation Process
- Installation must be carried out only by a qualified specialist.
- Before starting, make sure that the power supply is turned off.
- The installation must follow the user manual and comply with international standards.
- Any modification or improper alteration of the device is strictly prohibited.
Using the Device
- Use the device only for its intended purpose.
- For example: indoor lights should not be used outdoors; non–waterproof fixtures should not be installed in wet areas;
- Wall-mounted lights must be installed strictly according to the instructions.
- During installation, use the correct electrical wiring and color coding:
- Brown – Live
- Blue – Neutral
- Green/Yellow – Earth (Ground)
Outdoor and Ground Lights
- In wet or humid environments, use only fixtures with an IP protection rating suitable for the conditions (check the packaging).
- When installing ground lights, follow drainage requirements and the rules provided in the manual.
Device Maintenance
- Periodically check that all connections are firmly secured.
- Do not use a damaged device.
- All electrical contacts must be protected from water and moisture.
- Cleaning should be done only after the device is turned off and has cooled down.
- Use liquids only for cleaning non-corrosive components; chemical or aggressive cleaning agents are prohibited.
Electrical Specifications
- Ensure that the supplied voltage matches the device’s specifications.
- When replacing a light source, use one with the same specifications.
- Never look directly into the light source.
Waste Disposal
- The crossed-out bin symbol indicates that the device must not be disposed of with household waste.
- Proper disposal helps protect the environment, natural resources, and human health.
